"This is my 3rd case of 6 for Balti as I believe it is the most authentic compared to our curry house experiences. happy :)"- Barbara L, Aagrah Customer

Take your curry nights at home to the next level with the rich, indulgent flavours of Balti!

Balti originates from the northwest frontier of Pakistan and is one of the most popular Indian dishes in the UK. The Aagrah Balti cooking sauce's secret recipe combines a unique blend of spices with a tomato base creating a flavour you can't have enough of. This is sure to delight any curry lover!

HEAT LEVEL: Medium to hot

SIZE: 270g (Serves 3-4 or if you like a saucy curry then 2-3)

Creating your delicious Balti - Great with meat, poultry, fish or vegetables

  1. Add 2 desserts spoons of oil into a pan and heat, add 400g of your chosen meat/vegetables and fry until browned.
  2. Stir in the base, add 70ml of water to the jar, replace lid, swirl around and add this to the pan.
  3. Bring to the boil with the lid on and simmer gently for approx. 10 mins or until thoroughly cooked. To make your Balti really special add a handful of chopped fresh coriander – delicious!

Best curry sauces in a jar

I have tried many of the jars of curry sauces available in supermarkets and this is the one I will always come back to due to its authentic flavour.. I am now going to try some of Aagrahs other sauces.

My wife likes the Balti but I’m not going keen as it is a runny success but compared with other Aagrah sauces

Amazing flavours.

All these Aagrah sauces are so flavourful. The Balti is a family favourite. You have a great meal on the table in under half an hour and it tastes like you spent all day in the kitchen. Result. It gets the top 5 stars from me !!

The jars context isn’t amazing, however opening the damm lid is so difficult it normally pisses me off

Best curry sauce ever !

I’m a massive curry fan and this is better than most restaurant balti dishes. I put three or four chopped green finger chillies in mine to give it a bit more kick. The depth of flavour of the sauce is stunning 😋
