I am really besotted with this spice mix, I use it as a marinade with yoghurt and a little cornflour to tikka my chicken pieces, then rapid pan fry till juices run and add to my Butter Chicken , its so good that its a wonder it even gets to the plate !!
Absolutely delicious. Allowed to marinate overnight and cooked in the air fryer. I was especially impressed with the depth of flavour. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that enjoys tikka. Top marks from me
I don’t usually like any curry pastes or sauces from a jar but this is honestly an absolute winner. Tastes exactly like a homemade curry. I have already bought more jars.
Tikka mix powder is lovely and we were disappointed when Tesco stopped stocking it. But we were surprised that the use by date on the 8 packets ordered was January next year (2026). I doubt they will all be used by then.
