Hand over Fist - Aagrah Recipe Book

Disappointed with content as I had expected the recipes to be based on Aagrah sauces. So I sent two emails to Aagrah explaining my dissatisfaction and asked how I might return the book and requested a refund. Have yet to receive a reply from Aagrah. Apart from the book I really like most of the sauces.

Excellent book with a wide variety of recipes to cater to all tastes. Love it!

Really enjoyed reading this ,however ,it is a Christmas present for my son who adores curries and I am hoping to be invited to his first curry night of the New Year

Very good informative book thank you. Tried 2 recipes and although they will never be as good as the Aagrah chef they were really good. Thank you.

The recipe book print quality on some pages is poor. And difficult to read. As the script seems blurred. Disappointed

Great Christmas Gift for friends living down South.
They have visited The Aagrah with our family and have good views on The Aagrah.

There are some really great recipes in this book however it is really spoilt by the difficult to read fonts on the pictorial backgrounds. I would have preferred to see the text on one page and a picture of what the food is supposed to like on another page.

I'm just about to order the variety pack again. The are all wonderful flavours.

More like a story book than recipe book. But none the less very enjoyable

Love this cookery book. Great recipes, easy to follow with explanations on alternatives to use should you not be able to get specific ingredients. Will be using this recipe book for years to come

We were aware of the Aagrah group of restaurants when on holiday in the North of England but now to find that they are sharing some of their recipes and, best of all, selling jars of the various sauces, is really wonderful. The Hydrabadi Pasta seemed unusual for an Indian dish but went down a treat when we cooked it for friends at a recent dinner party. We will be ordering more jars soon and look forward to experimenting with more of their recipes.

Fabulous taste , No work easy to use ,best jar by a mile ,used to make own curry but this is so tasty ,very well packed going to plastic jars eco friendly soon I see Not sure Which one we like best ,all good

First class book. Some brilliant Aggrah menus, but the jewel in crown is the history of how the Aggrah was founded and how it developed into a leading restaurant chain. Beautiful photos, and a wonderful addition to my book collection, although it will get used frequently!

Prompt delivery with some interesting recipes inside. I hope I can replicate the dishes they serve in their restaurants.

Sauces are excellent and very authentic. Some I had never heard off but I really enjoyed them. I will definitely be re-ordering soon.

Brilliant recipe book! easy to follow, and it gives alternatives to use if you can't find a certain ingredient given in the recipe. lovely history about how the company formed...love the photos too! 👍 X

The book arrived very promptly and the recipes are easy to follow. I bought this as we moved to Ireland and so can’t visit the Aagrah in Doncaster. We have made three of our favourite dishes so far and the flavours are amazing. So glad I purchased this as we now have a little of the Aagrah magic in our own kitchen. Best of wishes to all at the Aagrah business.

Tried out the Handi sauce tonight. Added to browned chicken and ready in 20 minutes! Got another 4 sauces to try! Cannot wait.... 😀
