"Made keema at home using Achari and it turned out to be as good as restaurants. Will be buying again!" - Neville. E

What's better than having 1 jar of Achari? 6! Quit worrying about your meals for a month straight with this delicious combo!

HEAT LEVEL: Medium

SIZE270g (Serves 3-4 or if you like a sauce curry then 2-3)

Named after Achar (pickled spices), this medium-heat sauce has won multiple accolades for Aagrah, most notably for winning Aslam the title of 'International Indian Chef of the Year'. Traditionally cooked with lamb but equally superb with chicken, fish, or vegetables, this is one of our very best sauces.

Create your delicious Achari Meal- Great with meat, poultry, fish or vegetables

  1. Add 2 dessert spoons of oil into a pan and heat, add 400g of your chosen meat/vegetables and fry until browned. To make your Achari really special add a couple of whole green chillies.
  2. Stir in the base, add 70ml of water to the jar, replace the lid, swirl around and add this to the pan.
  3. Bring to the boil with the lid on and simmer gently for approx. 10 mins or until thoroughly cooked – delicious!

Even nicer than Patak's !

I used to always use Patak's paste as a base for curry dishes. Having tried the Achari at Tesco a while back I was sold on these sauces. Unfortunately not stocked at the moment in Sheringham. I actually bough the last stock of nine jars they had in the store room lol. Hoping it's just a label change or something.

Great taste. Especially like the Hydrabadi...
Nice heat and full of flavour.
Check the Aagrah Hydrabadi Bryiani recipe on their website. What a one pot wonder that is, so easy too.

Can't get enough of this sauce

First bought this about 12 months ago for leftover lamb. I now have lots of leftover lamb! What an excuse to buy jars of this.
Absolutely love it. I do tend to add a couple of tablespoons of mango chutney and wow what a taste.
Personally, I think it is the best tasting sauce in a jar you can buy
Thank you Aagrah Foods
